Thanks for your comment!! While I agree the holocaust and slavery have many differences, they both were horrific and both had lasting impact. The comparison was simply to show how we respond to our nation’s sins matters in how to move forward. Germany, for example, is Israel’s second biggest trading partner. America can’t just continue to put bandaids on the problems caused by generations of abuse and expect all to be great. It’s more than just slavery we’re talking about, too.
