Respectfully your analysis is off. If Israel ever had a goal of wiping out Palestinians, they could’ve done so many times over. Instead Palestinians increased their population a ton over in the past 50 years. If Israel wanted to wipe out Palestinians, they wouldn’t have 4x offered them a final peace agreement, always rejected by the never recognize Israel crowd. If Israel wanted to wipe out, they wouldn’t have withdrawn from Gaza in 2005z If Israel had a goal of wiping out Palestinians, they wouldn’t have one on their Supreme Court, and have 2 million of them who are Israeli citizens (and not protesting Israel’s response to Hamas). It’s not the same at all as the US and understanding history and the region DOES matter. There’s no celebrating innocent death no matter the analysis. But Hamas aren’t cowards, they are horrific brutal savages who baked babies in ovens. They didn’t tell Israelis to leave their homes in advance. They didn’t drop leaflets. Their M.O. is the total killing of Jews. Israel’s M.O. is the eradication of their ISIS. None of this means not strongly advocating for Palestinian independence. I will always.
