I appreciate the apprehensiveness about white folks talking about race. I truly do. May I suggest you dig deeper on what the purpose of this piece was. I am a strong advocate for CRT and if you read my many writings on the subject, you will see that. I was trying to reach a different audience than Black folks. We can't move the ball forward in this country if we don't reach other people. It is why I focus heavily in my work on eradicating unconscious bias so many suffer from. We can't continue spending billions on improving education and diversity if the people administering those programs still suffer from deep unconscious bias against Black and Brown people. I'm on your side. And that is not said in a I know best manner. It's genuine. I use my ears as well as my pen. Thank you for your comments.
