By that standard, we shouldn’t learn about the details of the Holocaust. Yes slavery was a holocaust too. I think it’s important to know accurate history. We can learn from it. We can prevent repeating history. I know others do, but I’m not advocating that we stop teaching Jefferson, et al’s contributions.
