Are You an Anti-Rapist?
A profound formula for improving our world
I assume if you’re reading this, you’re against rape.
But if you saw a rape occurring, would you speak up? Would you intervene to stop the horrific act?
I suspect the answer is a resounding “yes.”
What if you heard that so and so raped someone. Would you turn the person in? Would you make sure justice was served? Might you even cry in pain and horror for the person who was raped?
What if you overheard some people planning a rape. Would you take action to prevent the act? Would you take time out of your day to figure out how to save the would-be victim?
How about if you heard people speaking about rape in an offensive manner at work. Would you speak up? Would you report them to HR?
Let’s go further.
What would you do if a registered sex offender rapist moved in next door? Would you warn your neighbors? Would you treat them the same as anyone else? Would you bake them a pie like you did for other new neighbors? Invite them to a barbecue to spend time with your daughter? Would you let the person babysit your kids?
What if you heard someone joking about rape. Would you tell them to cut it out? Would you use your voice as a teaching…
